Once again Phi Kappa Psi and Delta Gamma welcomed the Lafayette community to get a fright and help out a great cause. The Phi Psi chapter house was transformed into Malfont Hospital on the night of October 27th for this great Halloween tradition. Groups of ‘investors’ were brought through the surgery, burn, infectious disease, and psychiatric wards where they met the hospital’s frightening doctors and patients. Altogether, the event raised $1100 with all proceeds going to the Boys and Girls Club and Service for Sight. Special thanks to Pennsylvania Theta alumnus Mason Carter ’11 for returning for a role in the event.

Phi Psi continued its tradition of hosting Cafe Phi Psi, where brothers cooked breakfast food for members of the Lafayette community with all proceeds benefiting the Boys and Girls Club of Easton. Cafe Phi Psi has traditionally been the first opportunity for the new members to help organize a philanthropic event as part of the brotherhood. This semester’s new brothers were excited at the success of this event which raised over $200 dollars for charity.
